Practice Fees:
Wynnum Medical Centre has a mixed billing policy.
Bulk billed appointments: Elderly patients over 70y and kids under 12y, patients on Care plan^, on approved Workcover claims or DVA gold card holders are still bulk billed for their weekday general consults excluding on the day appointments.
Other billing details are as below:
* You will be required to pay over the phone for the out of pocket fee if you are a new patient in this practice and making a long appointment and this fee is not refundable once the appointment is made.
^ Patients on care plan will only be bulk billed by their usual doctor.
Non-Attendance Policy:
Due to an increase in patients not attending appointments that could be utilised by patients on our waiting list, a $50 fee is payable if you fail to attend your appointment or cancel within two hours of your booked time.
